I am a Board-Certified in neurology and sleep medicine and fellowshipped trained in EMG, EEG and Sleep Medicine. I have more than 25 years of experience in these fields. Sleep disorders are common in neurologic disorders, and as a Neurologist, I can better discern and manage sleep disorders that coexist with neurological disorders.
I built a Sleep Disorder Clinic in Amarillo and as the first and former Medical Director for 10 years, the clinic became the only Sleep Disorder Center certified and recognized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
I am a board-certified Adult-gerontology acute care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) working under the supervision of Dr Olusegun Oseni, a renowned pulmonologist and sleep specialist at Lung and Sleep Specialists of North Texas. I hold Associate degrees in Respiratory Therapy and Nursing from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s and Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Walden. I’m a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I enjoy sleep medicine and believe that our team has a unique ability to impact the daily life of adults and families by treating sleep disorders and promoting healthy sleeping habits.
I am very excited to be part of the Ognomy team and to have the opportunity to bring better sleep to patients in the comfort of their environment and provide more focused care. I have lived in Dallas Texas since 1997.
I am a sleep medicine physician who also practices in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine. I became interested in sleep medicine due to the fact that sleep disorders are common, and if left untreated, can have significant long-term health consequences and decrease quality of life. I enjoy educating my patients on their medical problems and I encourage them to play an active role in their care. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
I am a sleep medicine physician, board-certified in neurology as well as sleep medicine. I have had a private practice in California exclusively for sleep disorders for many years and I am excited about the new option to streamline sleep apnea diagnosis and treatment via the Ognomy platform.
I am originally from the Chicago area. I graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Psychology, then on to medical school at Rush University in Chicago, and continued training with residency and fellowship at Loyola University. I look forward to diagnosing and treating sleep apnea in a broader patient population as the benefits to overall health and quality of life are so important.
I am a Sleep Medicine specialist with extensive medical training and experience. Upon completion of medical school, I underwent postgraduate internal medicine training in England, culminating in being awarded the United Kingdom’s highest internal medicine certification, MRCP(UK). I relocated to the USA for further subspecialist training and undertook residency and fellowship training in sleep medicine. I am board-certified in Sleep Medicine. I’m also a past recipient of a competitive grant from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and am widely published in peer-reviewed journals. I’ve been in private practice since 2010 and am married with a son.
I’m also a participating provider in most insurance plans.
I am a Physician Assistant whose primary focus has been the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. From sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and restless leg syndrome I love improving patients’ lives through better sleep. I am excited to be a part of the Ognomy team and bring better sleep to you in the comfort of your own home.
I am a bio-experienced nurse practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the medical practice industry. Skilled in sleep medicine, critical care medicine, psychiatry, healthcare, and medicine. Strong healthcare services professional with a Masters of Science in Adult Health Nurse Practitioner from Daemen College.
I have been in clinical practice as a physician assistant since 2004, when I began work in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. I joined the Sleep Medicine Centers of Western New York in 2010 as I sought to focus on the treatment of adult and pediatric sleep disorders. The aspects of my job that are most rewarding are meeting new people, being able to teach them regarding their condition and how to comply with therapy, as well as making a positive difference. Outside of providing direct patient care, I have also given various presentations pertaining to obstructive sleep apnea in the Buffalo community. I have acted as a mentor to students interested in the PA profession, as well as Sleep Medicine. I completed my Physician Assistant degree at Daemen College in Amherst, NY in May 2004 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cansius College in Buffalo, NY in May 2001. I am board certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA with professional associations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Western New York Physician Assistant Association and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
I am a board certified Physician Assistant working in collaboration with Dr. Rifkin since 2004. As a Physician Assistant in Sleep Medicine, my primary focus includes the diagnosis and treatment of both adult and pediatric sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome (Willis-Ekbom disease) and others. Currently, I am a provider in New York State, practice administrator at the Sleep Medicine Centers of Western New York, as well as a guest lecturer at Daemen College. These roles have provided me with a unique opportunity to work with students, colleagues, and patients regarding a variety of not only sleep disorders but often in the setting of challenging comorbid medical issues in a team-based approach. I look forward to bringing this same standard of care from years of experience into telemedicine.
I am the Founder and Medical Director of the Sleep Medicine Centers of Western New York, which was first established in 2002. It’s hard to believe we’ve treated more than 100,000 patients over the years.
Board Certified in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine, I focus the majority of my practice on the treatment of adult and pediatric sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and restless legs among many others. In addition, as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at UB, I teach students, residents, and fellows the joys of sleep medicine and engage in clinical research. I love what we do for our patients and how much we strive to improve their lives. I’m thrilled to bring all my years of sleep medicine practice into the world of telemedicine, and honored to work with the entire Ognomy team.
