What is your role at Ognomy?
I am the Patient Servicing Manager for Ognomy; I keep up with all the day to day needs of the providers and patients. Addressing all questions, issues, or concerns that may arise.
Why did you join Ognomy?
I have the utmost respect for Dr. Rifkin and all of the sleep providers here and truly admire their care. When Dr. Rifkin came to me with this amazing idea and opportunity, I definitely did not hesitate to join in and was thrilled to be included. I am very grateful to be part of the Ognomy team!
What’s the best thing about your job?
Especially since the pandemic, being able to help and serve patients from the comfort of their own home has been such a blessing. I love hearing from patients about how much better they feel as well as how much their daily lives have improved after establishing their care with us.
What has surprised you the most about working in Telehealth?
How we are able to service so many different people, from so many different places, and help them to get a better night’s sleep!
What’s your one prediction for the future of Telehealth?
Since the launch of Ognomy, and all the amazing things we have been able to accomplish since then, makes me very excited for the future. I do believe that Telemedicine is definitely the future of medicine and will not be surprised when more doctors and specialties follow suit. I think Telemedicine is an amazing opportunity and a more convenient way for providers to treat and service patients in an effective manner.
