What is sleep apnea?
Sleep apnea is a serious disorder in which your breathing repeatedly stops and starts while you sleep. Your throat closes in on itself, obstructing regular breathing, forcing your body to subconsciously wake itself up to open your airways again. In many patients, this happens hundreds of times a night, which can destroy the quality of their sleep.
If left untreated, sleep apnea can lead to other chronic disorders that can seriously harm a person’s quality of life.

- Silent pauses in breathing

- Difficulty concentrating
- Memory loss
- Decreased sexual desire

The home apnea test was a perfect way to diagnose my sleep apnea. I was happy that the home test worked and that it was so simple to do. This simple diagnosis and treatment saved my job, my marriage, and essentially my life!
After 3 months, I was wearing my CPAP every night and all through the night. My blood pressure is under control and I was actually able to stop one of my blood pressure pills. My sugars are the best they’ve been in 2 years.
I don’t snore, I don’t get warm at night, I no longer wake up with a dry mouth, and I rarely if ever go to the bathroom at night anymore.
