What did you do before you joined Ognomy?
I managed the front end staff of Rifkin PC.
What is your role at Ognomy?
I am the Scheduling and Onboarding Manager. I oversee the onboarding and scheduling of any patients seen on site or online.
Why did you join Ognomy?
I think it's a good opportunity to grow with a new company and make it successful.
What’s the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is working with a close knit group of people and watching this company evolve into something really great. I am learning new things every day and given the opportunity to grow with the company.
What has surprised you the most about working in telehealth?
The things that have surprised me the most is how efficient we can be with people working from all different locations as well as the ease of treating our patients in a virtual world where they don't have to live close to one of our locations and/or have the ability to travel to a local facility.
What’s your one prediction for the future of telehealth?
I believe that telehealth is the wave of the future and eventually anyone not needing to be seen for a physical exam can be seen virtually with the same benefits as an in person visit. People in remote locations with no access to transportation will benefit from treatment that they would previously be denied access to.
What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with my children, watching my son play sports consumes a lot of our time. We love the Buffalo Bills and hiking as well.
